Frequently Asked Questions.

 

Is this online or do I download software?

Yes, there is both an online Web Service and an iOS App for your iPad. In general the iOS App is used for presenting,
the Web Service is used for managing members, content, metadata, and viewing analytics. To get started you
will need an iPad running iOS 10 or higher. From your iPad, install the iDetail iOS App from the Apple App Store
and follow the screens to create a new organization and account. Once you have followed the instructions,
the iDetail will download the content videos you need to get started and automatically play the first video.

Can I upgrade between plans?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade between any plan at any time. For monthly plans, any change will be prorated
in your next bill. For annual plans it will require the current contract to expire, and a new contract executed with
a new one-year term from the effective date of the Price Plan change. Any prepaid unused balance from the
current contract shall be applied to the new contract. Contact your Reseller to change your plan.

 

Can I add specific features to my existing plan?

Yes, any feature from any price plan can be purchased separately without upgrading plans.
The exception to this is the Multiple Apps feature, which is available only in Professional or higher plans.

 

What is an organization?

An Organization is a workspace consisting of Apps, Members, Content and a Price Plan. Under the Enterprise
Price Plan, a Company can have unlimited Organizations, and only one User License per Member is required
to access all of a Company's Organizations. Under the Essentials and Professional Price Plans, a Company has
access to a single Organization. Additional Organizations may be requested, but each requires a separate Price
Plan. Essentials and Professional Licensed Members must have a separate User License for each Organization.

 

What if I have different teams with different needs?

You can add additional organizations with different plans and pay the separate fees associated with those plan
licenses to support different team needs. For example, if you have a single support team that supports multiple
teams on different plans, the options are to: [1] purchase an additional license under each organization’s plan to
offer support, or [2] purchase the Enterprise plan for the support team, which allows the support team to manage
the other teams that are on the Essentials Plan or Professional Plan.

 

Can I have the Essentials Plan with a single Tool Kit or Custom App?

Yes, the single feature for the Essentials plan can apply to a Tool Kit App or Custom App. Separate development
fees apply for the Tool Kit and Custom Apps.

 

There is no contract?

Yes, for monthly price plans there is no contract, and you will be billed monthly for the number of licenses used.
For the annual price plan to receive the 2 months free, there is an annual contract for 12 months.

 

Is it easy to get started?

Yes, simply grab your iPad and install the iDetail iOS App from the Apple App Store. It’s free for the first 30 Days.
You will need be billed for the next 30 days, or you can purchase an annual contract.

 

How do I delete my account after the 30-Day Free Trial?

After 30 days simply send an email to support@idetailapp.com requesting your account be deleted.

 

Are there different types of member licenses?

Yes there are two types: User Licenses and Reviewer Licenses.

User License - a member with a User License is an Owner, Admin, or Presenter who can have permissions
to manage content (i.e., create, edit, or present) manage users, and other features available in your price plan.
Use metrics are generated and recorded for User License members.

Reviewer License - a member with a Reviewer License only has permission to view content in the Organization.
Reviewer Licenses do not count towards Volume Licensing totals. Use metrics are not recorded.

 

How do I get the volume discount?

Only the Enterprise Price Plans are eligible for the volume discount. Please contact your Reseller to discuss
volume discounts for Enterprise Price Plans.

 

How do I get support?

Email-based support is provided for all iDetail Plans at support@idetailapp.com. Email support requests are
responded to within two (2) business days. Please refer to the iDetail Terms of Service Agreement for details.
Separate Support contracts with defined Service Level Agreements and Training are available from your Reseller.
